H. Palmer Hall lives in San Antonio, TX with his wife Susan and son Stephen. He is the library director and teaches English at St. Mary's University. He has edited one previous book, A Measured Response, and co-edited another, The Librarian in the University. While in the Army, he was a Vietnamese interpreter/translator in Viet Nam from 1967-1968. His most recent book is +From the Periphery: Poems and Essays+.
